Hey look at that, an anime with an original plot! You don't see many of those these days!

Eden of the East was a fresh breath of air. In an industry that thrives on the same old humor, love stories, and fight scenes it was nice to see something that wasn't exactly like every other anime you've seen. The moment the first episode starts in Washington D.C. you had no idea what was going to happen next. I like that. Eden of the East was adventurous, following an oddly confident man with amnesia. You go along for the ride as he tries to discover his past ... and the troubles that he'd gotten himself into.

Eden of the East is pleasantly unpredictable. All of the characters are likable and it questions the limits of human kindness. It's just like a Hollywood mystery. And the fact that it's only 11 episodes makes it more like a long movie rather than a show. You'll want to watch the entire thing in one sitting. Buy it, rent it, I don't care. Just so make sure that you see Eden of the East.

Here is the story. The hot tempered girl is in love with the class rep. And the scary guy is head over heals for his odd, softball playing classmate. Both Taiga and Ryuj are unable to convey their feelings to the person they have feeling for. Therefore, they team up and try to fix their problems together. As if that isn't enough, a secretive demon like actress is thrown into the mix. Many hilarious and troubling events take place so that you end up falling in love with Toradora before it ends. It's cute, a good laugh, and well animated. In every category it's a ... very enjoyable watch! I'd recommend it to everyone that likes a high school story about love and life.

So why the low score? Let's just say, I despised the ending. In order to keep from revealing anything, I won't say why. I loved the show up till the end of episode 19. Certain events took place that made me hate the show with a burning passion. That doesn't stop me from suggesting it to everyone else though. Most people liked it, and I bet you will too!

I'm just going to come out and say this. Lucky Star was boring. It was a show about a group of girls that sit around and talk about stuff. It's supposed to be funny and cute. They wrote it so you could relate with the characters. It addresses everyday issues. That is the entire idea of it.

I couldn't get behind it. I have a different sense of humor and because of that not much of what they said was funny. And without laughs, what do you have? An incredibly boring show! Plus it didn't help that they tried to make Konata into a nerd's fantasy ... girl. It really just pissed me off.

But, with all that being said, it wasn't a horrible show. I disliked it, but I'm sure the general population would like it. And they do. It's exactly like Azumanga Daioh. Watch it if you want to laugh.

Tenjou Tenge was by no means an amazing or ground breaking show. The art wasn't amazing and the characters weren't incredibly unique. Also, the fights sometimes left something to be desired. The flaunting of fan service was not appreciated on my part either. However, the bluntness of the plot was somewhat enjoyable. While a pair of guys that just go around picking fights, seems stupid. It brings a new type of story to the table. It may just be a lack of plot, but I found it refreshing.

While Tenjou Tenge was nothing special it was still a pretty descent show in my eyes. It is ... simply a beat 'em up anime. There was something about the show that kept my interest. I watched twenty episodes in one night and was never bored. I think the simple plot and tough guy attitudes just held and entertained me.

There was one major problem I found with the show. It was that the characters in the flash back were much better than the actual ones. The show ended abruptly, but it was more like it ended with the telling of the back story. Since I liked those characters better, I thought it was fitting.It was just a shame that the entire show wasn't modified from the manga and made just about that group of people instead.
