People wonder "When spring comes will the rainy season still be far behind?" But, it is still early spring and the rainy season still looks far. As if to emphasize the situation, maybe it's because the sky is cloudy in the morning; it looks like it's the coldest day of the season. Every time a flower blooms and the branches of a tree sway, at that moment a miracle happens.

Beginning with a prologue, the sound of raindrops, the sound of waves breaking, and the sound of the ship's engine clearly heard. Hodaka Morishima started the day by boarding a ship to get to Tokyo, very infatuated with the weather. In the middle of the trip, the sound of rain drops slowly. That made him curious and tried to find the source of the sound of the raindrops. How shocking it was to start a rainstorm which was originally quiet now gathered into one and made the raindrops become a blast of water ... then hit the ship. Hodaka almost just sank but there is someone who managed to save him, and this person will also play an important role in this story, He is Keisuke Suga.

After experiencing an unexpected meeting ... Hodaka finally arrived in Tokyo. Scary, perhaps the right phrase to describe how a 16-year-old teenager lives in Tokyo. Arriving there, Hodaka tried to find work so he could live there. Finding a job is not an easy matter. Repeatedly he tried to find a job but his age is still 16 years is a hindrance from all that. He almost gave up and was often seen sleeping beside a trash can. The next day, more precisely in the afternoon at a fast food restaurant, he was pondering to think about how to go forward. That's where their meeting took place. About 3 seconds, they for the first time met "Hina Amano" with "Hodaka Morishima." After a long time of thinking and meeting between them, it turns out he was still in a dead end. Starting from meeting, getting a job, and meeting for the first time ... This is where "Weathering With You" begins.

The first impression of "Weathering With You", seems similar to "Kimi no No Wa", maybe this story is a continuation of various works by "Makoto Shinkai." There are several scenes where the characters from the "Kimi no Na Wa" series appear here like "Taki "Which was seen being with her grandmother, while" Mitsuha "was an employee at a jewelry or souvenir shop (sorry if this deviated from the topic.) I did not expect much with this one story, honestly the storyline is easy to guess. Although I was surprised by the secret between the main character and the end of this story.

Expecting the same as the previous series, I also expect a lot with the graphic design to be displayed. This is approximately 2 hours long and in my opinion the duration is long enough. Maybe with that duration, sometimes when I'm watching I also feel bored, but with the transition and the existing song insert make the storyline interesting again. It contains 80% rain and the rest is sunlight. I think the rain effect is very good, although the rainy weather can sometimes affect the picture quality but this is very good. The background is also very supportive with that dialogue and monologues seem not boring. But what I like most about this is the clouds they have are very good, the combination of clouds and sunlight after the rain really spoiled my eyes.

Again and again Radwimps stole the attention, the song they sang was truly extraordinary. The voiceover is also no less great, by inserting insert songs and some scenes that we usually do everyday (who knows what they are called) are really bright ideas. Too bad, I didn't listen to the ending song because I was rushing out of the cinema so I skipped the cover on this one.

Overall, storyline is predictable and not very interesting in my opinion but I give extra points for the end of the story. Graphic design, voiceover, and singer are good. Long duration is sometimes boring but that doesn't apply to "Weathering With You." If you don't believe it, why not try to watch this first?
