Steins;Gate was already one of my favorite anime, this neither adds or detracts from that overall experience, but it deepens it. It gives the world of Steins;Gate another hidden dimension I never know I wanted to witness. It adds an new scientific theme of artificial intelligence, mores screen time for the well-developed main characters, more interesting characters, and greater variety of scenes. It feels like a natural extension of the original Steins;Gate, but with a much more grim tone. The character development is also much better here, with every main cast expressing more emotions and personality, having the audience see them in a new but consistent light.

The music is also straight out an upgrade from the original.

The ending, on its own, can feel a little incomplete, but if you can appreciate that this is a midquel, then it is only a minor issue. There are other plot points that the anime did not entirely tie up (tracing the humming music for instance) despite having a lot of buildup.

Worth watching for the unparalleled psychological experience, but not exactly worth rewatching unless you have company that will wrack their brains figuring out the time travel intricacies with you.
