The series started off promising enough, but quickly developed into a boring mess. The cause is twofold - once, the main character is incredibly overpowered to the point where nothing is a real threat. None of the battles in the series feel important or in any way exciting.
Secondly, the way the series develops, almost every faction or individual becomes an ally of the main character slime with laughable ease. It's not a very interesting development and took away a large piece of my enjoyment of the series.
The story itself seems muddled. What is it about, really? The slime itself does not seem to have particular goals. And while there is a particular goal he pursues in the second half, it's mostly to help someone he knew. He is not as self-motivated like I had hoped.
The artwork and soundtrack are average and ultimately forgettable.
As for enjoyment, I still felt compelled to follow it to the end and see where it went, but that is more because I wanted something to watch and enjoy isekai in general, not because the series is that good. It was enjoyable enough to watch and not drop it, but that's about it.
