If SAO is the father, this anime is like the drunk uncle of the family.
The comedy is over 9000! I watched it about 5-6 times, all of it, start to finish.
Its not a waste of your time. It will make you laugh... a lot.
And you will like the characters... a lot.
Why? Because it makes fun of itself and the genre.
CHARACTER SPOILERS!
The characters make this anime what it is.
You have an MC Thief that is always broke, a Goddess that is getting wasted all the time, a psycho Mage that only wants to explode things and a masochistic Paladin that throws herself in harm's way to be abused.
If that isn't the dream team I don't know what is.
And that is what separates this anime from SAO or any of its clones. Its 1% serious plot, 80% comedy and 19% ecchi.
And it really works!
This is one of the very rare anime that gets all 10s from me.
And I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE THAT WANTS A GOOD LAUGH, A WELL ROUNDED STORY AND TRULY LIKABLE CHARACTERS!
