Overall though. Feels like someone took a full anime movie and cut it down to 20 minutes. 20 minutes is about all I could bear though.
It takes the basics of every mecha anime and thinks that all it needs to be great. It has a giant monster, unrealistic mecha suits, cute robot girls, a love triangle, a school setting, and a weird ending. I could be describing Neon Genesis right there. Just goes to show that just cause you tick all the boxes off doesn't mean you've made a good show.
