Story (10/10) - You cannot walk out of this show and say oh it's just another decent high-school anime. This series takes it to another level by utilising the 'puberty symptom' at its fullest to represent how each character is facing as they are in high school or growing up. It captures the hardship of overcoming those symptoms during our teen days, or even into adulthood. Also, like the fact that it's not just a simple fix but requires them to face it head-on and find solutions to resolve these issues. This carefully crafted story, supported with the talented director for this series, demonstrated how each episode our protagonist went out of his way to help each character to fix their adolescent issues, and increase his harem.
Art (9/10) - Stunning I would say. Especially the well-orchestrated opening video captures the magnificent background image of this series. Not to mention the character design, well made them quite attractive to the audience eyes. Simply the time spent on character design by the team of illustrators to effectively reflect the beauty of the characters.
Character (9/10) - Ahh yes, our man Sakuta becomes the man of the season. Despite his lazy, dull and straightforward personality. What I like about him is that he's willing to step out of his comfort zone, which is doing nothing, and go out of his way to support each character of different arcs. But I am more interested MAI-SENPAI! Cute, tsundere and adorable mature character just made my day and how she understands Sakuta very well and showed him the highest level of trust. Cares for him after his public confession and the blush the needs to protect.
Sound (8/10) - I enjoyed the opening music 'kimi no sei' so much that it now sticks in your head. The well-tuned music gives a lot of energy, and you never get tired of hearing it.
Enjoyment (9/10) - Saying that I enjoyed the show is an understatement. Every episode I am just so invested in seeing whether the problems will be solved or does another barrier to it. But what I enjoyed more was the interaction between Sakuta and the girls as he loves to tease them with his shameless opinions. I love slice-of-life romance anime after all.
Overall (9/10) - IF we look back on this show, it can reflect on how we experience in our teen days, and this anime clearly showed all those symptoms we faced. Not to mention our protagonist Sakuta have to suffer as he reached the limit of his abilities.
