This film does not warrant a full review. I went into it with an empty mind even though I had heard how lackluster it was. Well guess what; it isn't lackluster, it is horrid. Seriously if they wanted to make a slice of life film with great visuals (which are ruined by god awful character CG throughout the film), that would have been enjoyable. But mixing in "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" mechanic (almost exactly), and taking scenes almost directly from "Your Name" (the beginning) and "Spirited Away" (the train on the water) is just a disgrace. This film was an assault on my intelligence. The first thing I've seen from SHAFT that has left a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid this film.
