Basically Shiki is an adaption from Ono Fuyumi's novel & there is also a manga & anime.
Since I 've read the manga I know a lil what its about so here you go:
Yuuki Natsuno moves from the city in a village named Sotoba. After a familly moves in the village in the middle of the night mysterious deaths start occuring which have no logical explanation.
While Yuuki thinks he 's being haunted by his dead classmate, Ozaki Toshio (the village's doctor) & Muroi Seishin(the temple's priest) start to investigate trying to find out what has caused death to the villagers & discover the shoking truth about the shiki(=corpse demons)...
Well I dont want to spoil everything so Im not going to continue. You can stick to the anime, manga or novel & find out. ;D
Also the story isn't really good & it's a lil confusing in the begining but it gets way better later, trust me.
P.S. Whether you liked the anime or not I strongly reccomend reading the manga. Personally I think the manga is way better than the anime. If I were to rate the anime 6 I'd rate the manga 9!
