Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni: A generic anime where there are

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni has as a great merit to be the perfect example of the generic that can be many anime that are currently broadcast.

Many times I have said that many anime series in recent years seem to be mass produced. It is as if someone has written a pattern and the others simply make copies of it. Well, to be fair, I will say that most people take the time to make some small adjustments ... but very small ones.

However, from time to time there arises a series that does not want to complicate life and simply copies as is to the pattern. It is that I imagine Patora Fuyuhara, at the time he was creating this novel, with a notebook where he was checking that all the points were included.

- Element isekai - check
- Protagonist so OP that fights are a joke - check
- Perfect one-dimensional protagonist for the audience to be projected on it - check
- Princess protagonist - check
- Fake harem with many waifus - check
- Generic plot dominated by slice of life - check
- Secondary characters that only exist to praise the protagonist - check
- Waifus whose personality is dominated by a cliché and their love for the protagonist - check
- Antagonists that are only there for the protagonist to shine - check
- A lot of fanservice - check
- Romance reduced to the girls trying to make the senpai look at them - check

Many series have some of these characteristics, but very few have all of them. And worse, very few have all without having made any changes. I think that if something can be boasted about Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni is to be faithful to the pattern.

In fact, talking about this series in depth does not make sense. Just look at the characters, read the previous check list and you will know what the anime is about.

The only thing I could say additional is that in the final two episodes they wanted to make adjustments in the romance by forcing things a little; however, that was so pathetic and was so badly done that it was better to have continued with the manual. I have not read the novels, but I would dare to say that what happened in the last two episodes does not go there.

It is incredible that at this point these clunkers continue to emerge that only serve to divert resources that could be used to encourage truly good series; or continue with better works.

It's sad that a grotesque like Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo has managed to get an anime; while much better novels of the same genre such as Arifureta Shokugyou by Sekai Saikyou, or Boku wa Isekai by Fuyo Mahou to Shoukan Mahou wo Tenbin and Kakeru are still waiting for an opportunity.

Even if what they wanted was an isekai with a lot of slice of life, there are great options such as Isekaijin no Tebikisho and Risou no Himo Seikatsu. How long are you going to continue looking for generic novels, without soul and with princess protagonists?

And the fact that I'm not talking about the jewels that are Chinese novels. With so much material to choose from to make an anime (Against the Gods, Great Demon King God and Devil World, My Wife is a Beautiful CEO, Warlock of the Magus World, etc); the geniuses who make decisions it occurred to them that the best options were Gin no Guardian, Cheating Craft and Bloodivores ... This last one need to turn off the light ...

SUMMARY

This series is so generic that it deserves an equally generic review.
