As one of the first Netflix originals that isn't a mess of CG animation, Devilman Crybaby is pretty good. Its a twist on the old Devilman manga, but doesn't really change much aside from the whole "Crybaby" aspect, which isn't much of the downside really. The only thing I can say bad about this anime is that the beginning really makes you think its a totally different kind of anime. Watching this as someone who didn't know the source material at all, I had no idea what it would eventually become, so I thought i was walking into some sort of superhero ecchi comedy due to the dialogue and the really weird animation the first couple episodes have (insert really bad running animation here). In the end, without much spoilers, it becomes a really in depth psychological look into humanity.
Its soundtrack tho, really nice. All of the songs used really work with what is happening on screen, except I don't exactly understand Japanese so the random Japanese rap songs with the cool rapping thugs were a little weird, but that's more of a language barrier then an actual complaint.
If your looking for a superhero anime that follows the general path of most super hero anime's, then this isn't the anime for you, it doesn't follow the same general formula at all (trigger warning imbued in symbolism intensifies).
Also don't watch this anime with anyone else around unless you want to have a really awkward conversation at the end of episode 1.

Ryo looks like DIO from JoJo's, 10/10 would crossover again.
