With anime like these, it makes me wonder exactly where the authors got their ideas, because this one is definitely something special.

Kokoro Connect is about a few high school students with some very peculiar problems, ranging from unstable teenage outbursts and well, lots and lots of drama. But the good kind of drama. You will see revelations happen as the plot and characters unfold to reveal something pretty, unique scenarios. There's a lot to say here, and so much more I could say, but I'll leave that part to you.

The characters are the real juice in this engine. They're all apart of this unique school club called the: Student Cultural Society, or in short, StuCS; which honestly we never quite figure out what the club is really all about. But everything goes downhill as we meet up with HeartSeed, who is the main culprit here. Basically, HeartSeed seems to be some sort of hive-mind type intelligence that feeds off of human emotion in response to what orders he may give them. He takes the persona of Ryuuzen, Gotou and manages to entertain himself with the students of StuCS by tampering with their lives in order to get enjoyment. This may all sound doom and gloom, but I believe his motives aren't for the worse. The students themselves are quite the bunch. Without getting too in-depth, they all seem to be dealing with their own problems, even ones that they might not have known about, and over time see the errors in their ways. They're also all very varied in their emotions, I really felt good connections with them.

Now for the art, it was well...decent. Nothing too special, but it won't make your eyes ask for more candy. The OP and music is also quite decent, but again nothing special. As where the voice acting is superb, everything else seems to be very mediocre.

So overall this one is quite the journey, be prepared for a lot of drama and romance, as well as some pretty crazy scenarios. I highly recommend this anime!
