Konbini Kareshi feels more like a hostage situation than an anime. The initial action sucks you in and then spends the majority of the series teasing you until the last few episodes where things really start getting emotionally impactful and interesting. Leading to the final wrap up episode which left things... as nicely concluded as they could be with the main groups, but left alot of the secondary characters empty.
If you go into that understanding you're going to get sucked in and then held hostage for a really slow burn slow pace series... and left somewhat unfulfilled then it will be an enjoyable if "okay" series. The musical score is solid and so is the art, it's the rest that's severely lacking sadly.
In short, this series is frustrating in the end but okay.
