Sorry for the below average quality of my review but I haven't written many reviews.
There's only be 4 episodes of the anime aired as of this review.
If you're considering this anime, I'd highly recommend it. The official plot and genres for this anime did not interest me. I'm NOT a fan of MMO based anime. I like Sword Art Online but it can be hit or miss for some people. A friend who always gives good anime recommendations, told me I should watch Net-juu even if it doesn't sound appealing, he was right. This anime is different because it doesn't revolve around action but funny ,interesting characters and possibly romance and it involves mature(subjective ;) ) characters around their 30's in age. It's not a slice of life anime but people who enjoy those anime will probably enjoy this too. I've only written one or two reviews but I HAD to write one for this anime because I want to spread the word out there that "I WANT MORE ANIME LIKE Net-juu."
A lot of anime try too hard to come up with weird forced drama to create tension and struggles and most just feel awkward. This show is entertaining and I really like how the characters once joked about their associates turning everything into a rom-com. I should mention that this anime will probably be highly appealing to people who enjoy immersive settings. The atmosphere will make you feel like you're right there with the main character watching her play MMO's and watching her life change because of the people she meets in her online game.
I think the story is a 10 because they pay attention to small and large details and the changes it can make. Some anime talk REALLY BIG about changes but the last episode will show the character doing the exact same routine with assumed character development, it's still too early to say how this anime will turn out but it drew me much earlier than most anime.
I think the art is great but they focus on the beauty of the MMO which I'm ok with because I'd prefer them to focus on the characters like they are right now. The characters are well detailed, pretty, unique looking where needed and the animation smooth and fluid.
The sound is amazing in terms of voice actors, I really like the main characters. I think the music is ok but I don't remember anything stand out. It's still too early , there may be stand out music during some more intense scenes later in the anime.
Characters get a 10 in my book ,from character design details, to their personalities, they get a 10. They feel like real people with many different sides. I don't want to spoil anything so I don't want to mention anything specific.
Like I said before I really enjoy the anime, it's funny, interesting, and immersive. From oh Sh!@ moments to awwwww moments. They don't bother with too much action, the anime isn't about action or even character growth. They do go through that a bit to demonstrate a bonding experience but like I said, that's not what this anime is about, not going through that means the anime doesn't use filler and gets to focus on it's strengths and the main plot.
Unless they fundamentally change some elements that are enjoyable right now, I doubt I'd want to downgrade the anime from a 10.
