Mixed Feelings
I feel like this anime could have been much better. The premise is good, the character design is good, the settings is interesting. But the story flow and the decision making of the author makes this anime/series annoyingly tedious. I mean, why would you hype your protagonists to be the strongest of the knights who could dispose of dozens, but then, only show them struggle with a meager one or two half-assed not even fully-fledged knight. It's inane and unwarranted. Having the main characters struggle and lose, is I know, a part of the story. But them, being the strongest knights, to lose at each and every turn. To be beaten by each and every minor villains. They, being the legends that they are, never did once beat an fodder villain effortlessly. It's counter-intuitive and annoying. The payback period is so long. At least show us the Sins overwhelm minor characters once or twice. I mean really, 3 of the sins against a minor character at the beginning, and they can't seem to take her on? What's up with their supposed strength. This anime/series could be so much better with a proper balance and clear distinction of strength and power. Imagine, it's the first arc and the much hyped "legendary" sins are already getting their asses handed to them. That's idiotic.
