Preliminary (10/12 eps)
I went into this anime with high expectations because of the previous Chinese anime I've watched called "Quanzhi Gaoshou," but it was anything but good.

The story's alright. You've got another MC who so happens to unlock a rare power/ability and is deemed as useless by the public at first. Soon the MC will shine and everyone thinks how amazing said MC is. We all probably know this trope by now.

I don't know why, but I kept watching hoping for some cool development, despite the art being 'meh'; the characters being quite bland; the voice acting being bad; the placement of music and background noises just pathetic; and most of all, the fighting scenes being absolutely horrifying to look at. It's as if digital animation just got invented. The pacing and movement of characters in the fights are slow, and most of the time they are just standing still when in reality the 'monster' is like 3 meters in front of them. That reminds me of the mental capacity of these so-called "dangerous monsters". Not only do the characters stand around and move slowly in a fight, the monsters do so too.
You get to see scenes in which monsters stand still for a solid 5+ seconds and just wait there to be attacked.
There's no feeling of excitement or sense of danger in these scenes whatsoever.

I don't know how to end this review, because I can just rant on and on about how bad this anime is... My recommendation: don't waste your time on this piece of garbage.
