Having said that, if you can get beyond that this anime should be enjoyable for you. That's pretty much all the positive I shall mention here as I repeat, if you can get past the elephant in the room, you should enjoy it. So let me mention what didn't work here. It's 12 episodes, but it seems like seven episodes of plot stretched out to 12. There's a bit of flashing back to events we (as the viewer) have already seen. All the characters have little more depth and personality than the plot requires, so if you're looking for a strong female lead; I suggest watching something else. Also, if you're looking for a morality tale here prepare for disappointment. But this isn't the kind of anime one watches for plot and substance (in fact when I watched it I am grateful to watch something this simple), which is why I gave it a four out of five.
