I enjoyed this differentiation from the main story, but it felt somewhat rushed. I suppose it's more there to show the different adaptation from the visual novel, but ultimately a single episode is too short in capturing a lot of emotion, which Clannad is originally the best at.
It's certainly worth the watch if you enjoyed Clannad, I would recommend watching this after After Story, but you can do as you please of course. Just don't expect it to touch you as much as the original and especially After Story itself can do.
