The anime has many positives and shortcomings, and I'll list a few (impossible to list all without spoiling the anime) in this short and spoiler free review.

First off, the things that I loved:
1. The soundtrack. Surprisingly beautiful.
2. The fact that his anime did not feel to go the ecchi, teenage rom-com or yaoi way (the most popular categories these days). Instead, it took head on a very serious topic.
3. Consistency. I mean, barring the plotholes, the anime was fairly consistent in its theme.
4. The time when 9 disarms a bomb. The music simply added to the beauty of the scene.
5. The pacing of the show, which picked up in the last 4 episodes. Had quite a few minor and major twists as well.
6. The ending. Sad, but beautiful. It made me up my score from 7 to 8.

The things that I didn't like:
1. 2 dimensional characters. All of them fit into a stereotypical character type. ALL of them.
2. Lisa. Why is she even in the anime? Her only job is to sob, cry, doubt herself, be a weakling, mutter sorry, be a hurdle and be completely useless. I don't see why the animators felt the need to add such a stupid character in this series. She was nothing more than a plot device and easily replaceable by someone more likeable.
3. Why Lisa thinks it's okay to spend time with terrorists. WHAT girl in her right mind would think that?
4. Why does the main detective have such an extensive knowledge of Greek mythology?
5. How the F was 5 allowed to go ahead with her very, very dangerous plan at the airport terminal?
6. The flashbacks - too little, too late.
7. 5's arc. I don't think anybody understood why she did what she did in the end.
8. Why did the boys have to resort to such *extreme* measures to do what they did?

All in all, though, this is a good anime to watch, provided you accept it has flaws. And to be honest, which anime doesn't?
