But i'll pull back here from reacting to lower reviews. I watched this show over about 3 days when i could get some free time.
The sound in this show is very good the way you can almost feel your on this train. Its just so well done.
The story i found to be good it has some eh moments or when characters become all power ful. There are a few characters we're suppose to be killed off that we dont really care about because they just seem to be there for that purpose.
Now is this an Evangelion, Cow Boy beebop or Akira? No its not reinventing the wheel but it is giving a new take on a concept that is really hot today vampires/zombies. I think it does pull off the desperate fight story the hopelessness very well. And the main two characters are well developed and so are some of the supporting cast.
the fight scenes and action scenes are where this show shines there are some spectacular visuals and some really well thought out creative fights. That kept me on the edge of my seat.
I am a big fan of serious anime that avoid the goofy faces while chars are angry or sad cause it looks lazy and unappealing and takes me out of the story. So this not having that is good for me. This really is a good show and if you are looking for a good action or horror expence you should check it out. As there are some great fights and it really is a visual treat.
