The title refers our "hero" Shigeo "Mob", a guy who works so hard to maintain the control of his powers that his personality was pratically erased. As ONES's previous work, the world of Mob Psycho is well set( we have espers and they are know, as those espers have diferent habilities), a main character who is absolutely overpowered, it have comedy on it, so, it was a huge success right?!?! WRONG!!! It's all because of one word... charisma... this show just lacks charisma... Mob is boring, his "boss" is boring, his parents are boring the storyline, boring, the girl that Mob likes... boring, the only light that i saw on the whole show, was his brother Ritsu, and Mob's interaction with him, there was i time, during the show that i even forgot that Mob was the mc(during his brother arc), because Shigeo is absolutely forgetable.
I'm not complaining about the cheesy characters, because that was definitely the author's intention, and it was funny.... sometimes.... but, it had no counterpoint... awesome action with cheesy characters with bad jokes, this is what this show is all about.
Story - Ok, ONE KNOWS how to make a story about a overpowered character, it makes you want to watch more, because the world that he created is interesting...
Art - I do like simple art, not every anime has to have that gorgeous animation with nice looking girls to do the job, the color concept, how he treated emotions through colors it was all nice...
Sound - It's studio freaking BONES that we are talking about here, so, it is awesome, since the opening theme, from power sound effects, voices, it all mixes well with the show feel...
Character - Here is where the anime biggest flaw, i got the intention on make Mob kind of "flat", and i even agree with that, but, every character on the show was TOO MUCH, maybe that's why i liked the brother that much, it has depth, can't talk much about him otherwise i'll spoil the best part of the show.
Enjoyment - A fair story, with an interesting art, awesome sound from the creator of One Punch Man!!!! It was supposed to be a huge hit, right? Nope :( When it was good, man, it was AWESOME, but i was looking asside the incredible fight scenes something else that is good to talk about the show, but.. i couldn't find any... everything else was... "meehhhh".. whatever... ok...
Overall - If you are looking for a show with incredible fight sequences, this is for you, it have a lot of action, but, if you take this aspect and compare it with the rest, the show lacks a lot... I know that a lot of people gave incredible high rates for this show, and it is a must see, but if you like a good story along with your action show don't hold your expectations too high
