Since it's in the anime description this shouldn't really be spoilers, but RELife is the story about a guy who quit his job after 3 months and couldn't find a job again, leading him to get taken in by a company called RELife, who gave him a pill that makes him appear younger, and put him through high school for a year.
I will admit that it's not the best thing ever made,there are some characters that really are not given reasons for why they are there, and it seems like sometimes characters will drag on the emotion conflict even when it should have obviously been finished.
The series does, however, keep you entertained with its humor, while telling you a pretty intense story of the lives of the working class adults in Japan and what they are expected to go through if they want to be respected in the world. And there is enough plot twists spread out through the story that it still stays interesting to watch. The biggest question, who is 001, is built up very well, and when finally answered is probably one of the best moments in the entire show.
All the characters seem to go through a growth of some kind, even the main character, which doesn't usually happen in this type of anime. The only big thing missing for these characters is that we never see their family life, but having seen a lot of anime like that it is kind of normal.
Probably my biggest complaint is the audio, while not bad quality sometimes when the main character is monologuing the audio will get much louder for no reason. And in terms of art, it doesn't do anything really special.
total score, 7/10, it was pretty good and you should watch it. IF a second season came out, which i actually wouldn't doubt if this series becomes popular enough, i would watch it in a heartbeat.
Also every time the kids leave school it is basically nighttime even though its actually only 6:30 in the middle of summer, not sure why though.
