Story: Now not much needs to be said about the first part of super why because its a complete copy and paste of the two movies this would be alright if they did not drag the story as long as possible the movies were only about 2 hours it could have been easily told in 4 episodes instead it takes more than freaking 10, why the hell would you want to watch more than 10 episodes of this when you could just watch the movie ( in far better animation by the way ) and be done with it. When they do go and make a original story you think it might get better well long story cut short it doesn't. When the tournament begins we find that all of the opponents we were hyped for turn out to be weak ( except Hit ) majin buu does not even get to fight and I can assure you that piccolo fight was for fan service. Finally there was little character development the only one got it was Vegeta at the cost of making his opponent weak but since he got character development that's a OK. Finally we go to the latest arc Black Goku you don't have to care about it that much it's simply a redo of the cell arc but with a evil goku say what you will about GT it at least made original storylines.
Characters: If a DBZ fan tells you that human fighters were useful in DBZ well his lying don't believe him/her cause they were useless they were simply pawns to hold off the villian until Goku got here. Nothing changed in super except now instead of being characters their the audience, no am not joking all they do is watch goku or vegeta same with gohan and piccolo. 18 and Videl might as well be trophy wives and bulma ( who cares about chi chi ). So what about goku just as under developed and overpowered as he always was. Like I said before Vegeta has gotten some character development and the cat and Whis or ok.
Animation: The animation ha ha ha ha it's mediocre for a high budget show and it goes down hill in ep 5 and the fights are lame which is a shame because most people only watched it for the fights however since the people who are work on it are new a won't be to harsh besides it toei what do you except lol.
Sound: The sound is OK nothing special but I did really like the theme song it's got energy.
Overall: In my opinion it seems that the writer and toei are still trying to write to kids and
not bothering to put any effort into the story at all cause they know that the hardcore fanboys will watch it blindly and they are right, I don't know how you can watch this besides nostglia I really don't not know. But if you like this than that's fine it's your opinion personally I think that DB is dead and should rest in peace. I really did have high expectations for this it let me
down.
