No, in Noragami, the Main character is not the girl but the Yato God. I nearly dropped the anime when I read the synopsis that the MC is a girl.
It has an overall great plot and I enjoyed watching it very much. It is also very funny and angst at some part, not that I cried.
I will highly recommend this anime to you if you enjoy action, small amount of romance(not a lot), hilarious moments, and heart-warming moments. Noragami is for you if you enjoyed the above. Trust me, try it and you will know.
