I am gonna be honest with you. This anime is not good. Man it's bad in every aspect of it. But still it is one of my favorites. Why? I see Mahouka as a one huge preview that is supposed to get you pumped for the anime to come and that's where it shines. It just presents you with a plot, tells you all the basic stuff you'd want to know about the anime before watching it and then it's just done.

Story:3
Tatsuya and bunch of other guys from his school, but mainly Tatsuya, fight the bad guys. Don't expect serious plot and mind-crushing plot twists, for it's pretty straight forward.

There were about 3 or 4 instances that I actually registered any soundtrack what so ever. The only reason why it gets 5 there is because it was pretty cool in those instances and because there was no point where i thought the sounds were bad.
Character:1
Typical. Anime. Characters. From bottom. To the top. Although to the end there is something slightly visible that could represent some form of character development.

Awfully bad anime. Hell of a good preview. I honestly hope it gets a sequel and it lives up to my expectations, because if it does.. Oh boy.
