After watching the last few episodes in the universe tournament, I've gotta say that the show brings you back to the roots of what dragon ball truly was. Yes, there a lot to be said about the whole SSB thing but honestly watching this series makes me feel like a kid again and there's so much things about it that make you wanna watch the next episode.
There is good character development ( for the most part so far), still those good comedic moments, and the pacing (OMFG THE PACING) is very well done. you never really feel like its taking forever to get where they need to go in the story.
There's a lot of things you get out of the show that the audience wanted. as well as alot that you weren't expecting and it is great to see how the show has progressed in such a way that it makes you proud to watch it. And the animation has improved over the last 39 episodes so hopefully it keep moving that way.
I have to say this show is underrated at the moment and i know its hard for people since most of them are waiting for the dub to be released so they can hear Sean Schemmel be the Goku we want. There's a lot of story to be had with this series so don't count it out just because you think that its not going to be as good as the original series. overall the show is amazing so far and i highly recommend you all check it out.
