if you grew up watching the anime series' db dbz and db gt, you are familiar with this gimmick; but, at least, in Super, it's not a whole episode of powering up or vocally initiating a challenge/warning... in Super, the fillers are inbetween the fights...
for example, there is an episode where a character is woken out of his sleep, expresses anger, and this spirals into him having a lunch/conversation w/ a visitor. it feels like these events should have taken 3-5minutes, however it took the whole 30 minutes.
overall the storyline is better, characters are a bit more rude and witty with their words, so it's more funny. I love that the episodes are in hd. although less fillers would have made this epic... i'm not sure once you start watching you will be able to stop...
fillers become frequent and annoying around episode 26.
