If Dante from Devil May Cry has a child, or let's just imagine if Satan was in fact a cool guy in person, then meet Maou Sadao.

Hataraku Maou-Sama! or The Devil is a Part Timer, is a 90% Slice-of-Life, 10% Action anime that focuses about the daily life of the Demon King, Satan, who forces to give up the battle against Emilia the Hero and went to the present day, Japan. At first, he wanted to rule the world starting in Japan, but his evil plan suddenly came to stop as Satan... or Maou Sadao in Japanese Name, changes his life as he started to work at MgRonalds, and met so many friends in Japan.

The title says it all, The Devil is a Part Timer, was at first, a dark story about the devils against the group of good guys and angels and the churches and the priests to stop the devil's primary objective... To rule the whole Ente Isla. But, thanks to a woman's bravery named, Emilia the Hero, the Devil named Satan and his sidekick, Alsiel, left Ente Isla to take a little breathing.

But, when the portal lead to the present day, Tokyo, Japan, the two then started to plan something evil against the whole country and even the whole world. And their first plan, Satan... or Maou Sadao, started to work in MgRonalds as he believed that he's going to conquer the world as a part-timer. While Alsiel, or Shirou Ashiya on the other hand, is still serving the Demon King as a house... uh... househusband? That's sounds ugly to hear... Oh... let's just say he's just a Servant.... Pardon my English.

The Story in Hataraku Maou-sama is quite a great story though, with a lot of comedy and keeping the Slice-of-life genre a little less boring thanks to Maou Sadao's comedic approach and jokes. He somehow reminds me of Dante from Devil May Cry due to his comedy though. But as for the battle sequences here, it's not really that important here though. I mean, it's best that if they stay in the Slice-of-life rather than the short battles. Because the battles were not to memorable and they just make the battle sequences became a bit more hilarious and fun because of Maou's coolness and punchlines.

Also, there's some fan service here in other episodes as well. I'm not into those kinds of things though, because that could mess my reputation as I watch this anime. I mean, yeah, I get it, Chiho's boobs are big, and I also saw Emilia's bra on her see-through clothes thanks to her sweat. I GET IT! SHE'S FLAT WHILE CHIHO'S BOOBS IS AS THE SIZE OF A FUCKING MELONS... I GET IT!!! JUST DON'T POINT WHERE ARE THOSE CHESTS LOCATED YOU CAMERAMAN HENTAI-DESU!! (ehem)pardon my weeaboo...

The character development seems it's very well written here. I really do like how they changed when every episode came along. Including some of the Ente Isla heroes and villain who came to Earth and how they were drastically changed thanks to the present setting of the story.

Also, the language when they were on Ente Isla is the very first anime that I've seen so far to use a unique language. It kinda sounds like it came from Germany or somewhere in Europe. Also, I don't know how they could handle that, despite that they are Japanese and they are having some trouble to say it. Kudos for them.

To wrap my review, I'd definitely recommend you guys to watch this anime. If you're not a fan of some "Fairy Tail" cliches, then go watch this anime. It's a very funny anime for you to watch. I guarantee it!!
