I have to say, in my completely biased opinion (yes this review will not be objective), this season of Noragami was AWESOME! Each episode had me on the edge of my seat and eager for the next week. All the comedy that Noragami fans enjoyed from the first season was there, except there were less silly Yato emotes and much more action! There really was not any filler episodes that I can remember of, which is never a bad thing. I do have to say I was a bit worried about where the season was headed from the first episode, which was imo the weakest from some of the pointless exposition that we had already been exposed to in season 1 anyways, but the next twelve episodes made up for that in a big way. Yato, as always, is a very entertaining to watch and an absolute favorite (hence the avatar name). I really enjoyed seeing more character development between Yato, Yukine, and Hiori; aka the characters that drive the entire show. Also the other gods Bishamon and Ebisu were surprisingly enjoyable. *MINOR SPOLIER HERE* One of my favorite aspects of the show was the fact that we find out how Bishamon and Yato became such visceral enemies, and that was something left out in the first season that was exciting to learn about this time around. And that big reveal at the end?!? If my hopes are realized there will be much more Noragami to be had in the future, especially with the way they ended this season!
