Amigo! Believe it or not, I've never seen Cowboy Bebop untill now. Let's see what I have missed.

Story:
While there is a plot throughout this anime, it is mostly episodic. That was not what I expected, though I really didn't mind it. After 24 episodes I was sure that the finale could not be all to good, there was just too little build up...but I was wrong. Bebops last two episodes are one of the best endings to an anime I've seen so far. I only wished we could've seen more of the main plot. The standalone episodes mostly delivered, either in a comedic way (most of them) or just as good little stories.

Art:
Cowboy Bebop was aired in 1998, but the general look feels more like 1988. But unlike many shows of the 80s and early 90s, this one has flawless animation and is generally pleasant to look at. There is very few uses of CGI, but when it's used, it sticks out. I personally don't like that. That's the only real flaw I saw here.

Sound:
Do I really have to say anything? Even if the voice acting was horrible (it isn't, in fact it's pretty good), the soundtrack is so incredibly good it would still justify 10 points. Jazz, Blues, Country, Pop, Rock, Metal, it has everything and it always fits. I know everybody has their own opinion, but seriously, if you don't like Bebops soundtrack, you are officially deaf.

Characters:
Spike and Jet are pretty cool guys. I loved watching them, I liked how they thought, talked and acted. Faye on the other hand...let's just say I'm not her biggest fan. I'm not saying she's terrible, but she is not as good a character as the rest of the crew. Ed is an odd case. The thing is, Ed doesn't really add much to the show, except for comedic relief. Usually, those are the characters I like the least. But it is scientifically proven that you can't not like her. The few episodes she had a bigger role in made me want to see more of her. The rest of the cast was somewhere between okay and good. Nobody stood out too much in either direction.

Enjoyment:
I didn't expect to be blown away by this anime, but it was a very fun ride. I never had to force myself to watch another episode, I actually almost marathoned it (for my watching habits that is). Cowboy Bebop is considered one of the best anime of all time. I don't know if I can agree on that, but I can surely say that it is a very good one. Only thing that would be even better would have been more plot episodes (as stated above).
