Noragami is one of those series that stirr up positive as well as negative comments among its viewers, and with good reason as i agree that there are plenty of flaws to pinpoint. But the reason i stand strongly on the positive side with this anime is because it is highly outstanding in one aspect that i consider essential for qualifying a series as enjotable and that is character development.

The character development that we get in Noragami Aragoto is easily one of the best i have seen so far (though it is not much anyways considering the small amount of anime i have seen :) Anyways i have been amazed to how the characters seem to be "completed" when this series ended in some sort of way. And i am mainly talking about Bishamon, Yato, Yukine and Ebisu, though i also appreciate how the focus has also been turned over to some other minor characters too such as Hiiro and Kofuku and her shinki. I would have liked though to see a little more of hiyori as i felt that of all the main characters hers is the one that seemed somehow to evolve the less.

The plot has been well built, both arcs have been amazingly entertaining and the increasing tension throughout the series has been notable. There were though some small gaps in the plot that i rather have covered, like lack of explanation to one or two facts.

Overall, Noragami´s return has been more powerful than what i would have expected, with the same traces of amazing comedy mixed up with serious moments of tension that are sriously badass and the best character development ever.

If for some reason you have dropped Noragami in the first season i highly recommend keeping it up until the second one and see for yourself if you want to continue on, as it is really an amazing work.

PS: i have to add-- Yukine´s character is what surprised me the most in the series. What was an annoying, immature and childish character on the first season turned up to be truthfully a great example and i have to clap for him on my feet because i hated him on the first season, and now he is easily one of my favourite characters of Noragami.
