The first two arc are the movies but there are some DIFFERENCES in the frieza arc like when Tagoma isn't killed by frieza and he become so strong he RAPES the z-warriors by himself and gives gohan a hard time and the Universe 6 arc where we get new characters and a saiyan from Universe 6. DBS has a great mix of humor and action in it.

The animation in DBS isn't consistent you have some good times and bad times but the animation has been getting better it hasn't been as bad as it was during the infamous episode 5.

I like Dub over sub but goku still sounds like a 80 year old women trying to sound like a man. Vegeta sounds fine and king kai voice actor is too old to put feeling in his voice.

The characters have changed goku and vegeta are still the same vegeta is a little bit more open and Gohan is a pussy .The humans are irrelevant who cares anyway they were weak in Z. You will love the new characters like whis,beerus and jaco the universe 6 charatcers: champa,vados, Heat/Hit, Kabe/Cabe(saiyan),Frost(frieza race),Botamo, Magetta.

You will Enjoy DBS if you're not a BUTTHURT GT FANBOY or are over the age of 38.
