Life after death is always a good theme for an anime, however it's quite a common theme, for example the major anime Bleach, possibly the most well known anime with the theme of the after life. However this anime has much more fluffy romance and a very slight theme of mystery.

Everything is so catchy, however the music is more of a set 'pop' genre, which is not to everyone's taste.

It's only a short anime and not every character is fully developed, especially as it mainly revolves around Otananashi, although quite a few characters do have some development; it just needed some more episodes.
