The world of No Game No Life begins as two sibling NEETs are thrown into another world vastly different from our own. Between the two of them, they are the greatest gamers on planet earth, but they inhabit a single avatar known as 'Blank', who has never lost a single game. The world that they are thrown into revolves around conflicts being settled by playing games. The two siblings believe that this world is where they truly belong

Story:
Im gonna be frank here, the story of this anime isn't really all that great, because theres not much of one to being with. The idea of average people being thrown into a new world is not anything new for anime. And although the story does pick up a couple episodes in just kind of unrolls like a carpet. It's not a bad plot by any means just a little lackluster. If you're into the really plot heavy story's, be careful if you check this one out.

Art:
This anime has very different art style from other anime. It uses very bold outlines and colors that almost remind of Borderlands. They also throw in references to things like Phoenix Wright and Doremon in the animation. Its very visually appealing and charming.

Sound:
I always feel like theres not alot to talk about when it comes to sound but here it goes. As almost always I watched this anime dubbed and I was very pleased with the english voice cast. All the characters voices fit their personalities very well. It was even more impressive considering some of the characters had strange ways of speaking. The OST was also very pleasant and it used some goofy yet appropriate sound effects.

Character:
Now heres where I thought things really shined. First off the two main characters are fantastic. We already know from the beginning that they have a genius level intellect but some of things they pull of were mind blowing. As the anime progresses their party grows (almost like an RPG) with a vast difference of characters who all manage to bring fun and excitement. There was honestly no one that I would call bad, or even boring. Each of them get several spotlight moments throughout the show so matter who your favorite is you are sure to pleased in that department.

Enjoyment:
This gets a solid 8/10 for a reason. First off its a very easy show to jump into and get started. The action starts almost immediately as the anime begins and were already given fun characters to cheer on. With the colorful and almost comic book art style, coupled with the great OST and superb voice cast, its both visually and audibly appealing. Most of the episodes end on an epic cliffhanger, which makes you want to start the next one up right away. I feel like the lack of plot and serious scenes knocks a few points off, but either way its still a very fun and enjoyable watch.

Overall
I had a great time watching this anime and I suggest it to those who are looking for fun filled adventure, with a great cast of characters. Again with the enjoyment, I feel the lack of plot and overall goofiness of this anime means I had to chip away from a perfect 10, but an 8 is still a very good score.

*Favorite Character
This one caught me off guard, because when I usually call someone my favorite character, rarely does it change. But I called it a little too early in this case. When the younger of the siblings named Shiro first opened her mouth, I wanted to put her in a box and take her home with me. She was just so adorable. But when Jbril, a later character joins the party, my mind slowly but surely shifted. Jbril is just so... I dont know how to describe her and thats probably why shes my favorite. You just never know how shes going to do something so she keeps the surprises coming. Also her fascination with the main character is already a trait that she shares with some of my other anime favorites. Jbril and all her oddities will certainly hold a special place amongst my other favorites.
