One of the major pros that kept me interested was the fact that it wasn't "filler-ish". You've all seen those school/slice-of-life anime who are really episodic in which every episode would feel completely random and out of the blue. Special A stuck to the storyline and the characters.
Another positive key is that the story and all the characters are really positive. There are no events that leave you frustrated and wishing it should have gone differently. It really satisfied me knowing it was a happy story and a happy ending.
Although at many times predictable, Special A is a somewhat cliche but yet it was an enjoyable ride by keeping its linear progression. Overall, it was an enjoyable anime. However, if you're looking at an anime that will leave you on the edge of your seat, this isn't the one. The ride is slow and peaceful
