STORY 6: The story of this show is very engaging for most of the story, it's interesting to see this goofy protagonist being forced into this awful situation. My problem comes in the last couple of episodes. The pacing goes from 0-60 in an instant and the pacing is full thrown off. I don't care if it's exactly like the manga, it gave me a bad taste, and in the end I couldn't help but roll my eyes. The ending is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, for months we watch these characters week after week, get engaged, and if the ending is crap it makes it almost as if everything we've seen them go through was for nothing.
ART 7: Artwork was good, simple, I am glad that it was changed from the dated manga.
SOUND 7: music was dope... At first, but then it was repeated.repeated.repeated to the point where I became corny, music was good but it got annoying after a while
CHARACTER 7: My huge problem with the protagonist is the fact that it seemed SOOOO forced how they try and make him look like a badass. OMG he put gel in his hair, I bet he can get all girls. I would've prefered for him to just stayed his goofy self instead of becoming hardened and then suddenly reverting back to his old self out of the blue. Also the women were terrible, God awful, what is the point of there being a romance if the female does NOTHING BUT SAY THE SAME DAMN THING OVER AND OVER "IS THAT YOU???" Until she gets yelled at.
ENJOYMENT 6: Honestly, I swear to god, I was watching the majority of this show and was thing, " this may beat Eureka 7 as being my favorite anime", but after the last few endings I don't think I could rewatch this show, I loved this show but the ending is sooooo dumb.
OVERALL 6: Yes the show has good points, it keeps you on edge for the majority, migi was interesting until the last couple of episodes, but it falls on its face. It tried to force its moral logic. It tried to make it seem at the end that humans are superior, but I could help but the that if you wanted the parasytes to be superior, you could have easily written that in, the only reason for us to believe what you say is because you wrote it so
