Beck (Anime) add (All reviews)

Beck, more of a western show. Some of us at one point wanted to play an instrument,we gone out and bought it,try it,fail, and then now sits in a box far away from your eyes to not remind of your failure. Here comes Koyuki, but instead of giving up he struggles and forges a dream.

I do recommend the english dub even though it ruins the imagine of foreigners coming to Japan and sometimes is slightly of track.I do feel its done better by the english cast.

I do hate wimpy protagonists sometimes and Koyuki is one of them, but he does compensate.Always finds himself in trouble like he's some "bully bait",this was the thing that I hated the most about the show.

The character that stood out the most for me it was Taira, the unsung hero, who had the most realism and seemed like the core of the formation.

Story: It's nothing out of the ordinary, boy did nothing worth of notice all life and decides to change that. This will appeal to most of you, since we all want to be remembered. And The whole 'Prundence' thing, felt really unnecessary.

Characters: Worth mentioning apart from Koyuki and Taira ? Mr Saitou is a good example of a supporting character and how one should be.If you're looking for some romanticism you should not expect much.

Art: Like I've said,it does feel a bit western and you will like it even more because of that.

Enjoyment: Its a good series to kick back and relax, even to show to your parents as a introduction to anime since its more mature and life-like oriented.

Sound: If you love rock, you'll love the soundtrack.Simple as that.

Should you watch it?Definitely, even more if you and your buddies are trying to start a band, this will give you a little insight about what's out there.
