So, Guilty Crown.
I like this anime probably more than I should. It really isn't that good. Sure, the sound and art are great, but its dragged down by its egotistical storyline and poorly-explained characters. I get what the studio was trying to do with the story, I think. And I understand the kind of characters they were trying to convey, but Shu ended up as an easily-manipulated ass and Inori, to me at least, was nothing more than a pretty idiot. The action scenes were terribly initiated. The story was everywhere. The characters were trying to do too much as was the genre. Guilty Crown's best feature was probably its randomly placed Supercell songs.
There were too many characters, the story tried to be too many things, and the genre was all over the place.
But if you still want to watch it even after reading all this, then at least take my advice into consideration: Pay attention, write down all the characters names (trust me, the minor beginning characters will come back), don't trust anything Gai or Yahiro says, and lastly, don't watch the last episode.
