But this show I tell you, absolutely amazing. I knew from the beginning it ended on a different note from a few reviews I've read on it and a few friends who told me to jump straight to Brotherhood, but I wanted to see and get a reaction myself. So I did. The first half was amazing! But I did feel like yes, it did go off course.
The ending did feel incomplete, even with the movie attached, it just didn't feel like a proper ending to an amazing story. My friend commented it was like watching a fanfiction. And he was right, it did feel like I was watching a fanfiction. It also took me awhile at the beginning of the series to realize they weren't in our world but in another. The years threw me off. I was confused what world we were in until they revealed the setting more. I thought it was regular early 20th century Japan. I think it could've been more clear in that area.
Overall, this show might be over ten years old, but its still seems very popular. I enjoyed this show, even though I was a bit upset with the end.
