Nichijou, a comedy anime and a hilarious one at that. It's kinda like Lucky Star and Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou but is better than both of them from what I've seen.
I'll be writing this review for a comedy anime only so animation, sound, character reviews will be based on that.

Story 8/10:
No plot or story. Each episode is divided into skits. And each skit is a separate story. Some skits may link with each other across the series but they are mainly individual. So, almost all skits are funny and make you burst out laughing which is this anime's objective. As long as it makes you laugh, it does its job right and that is why I love this anime. I'd put it in my favorite anime for comedy.

Art 8/10:
Not a fancy animation. But it's just what you'd expect of a comedy anime. Actually, if they'd improve the art and animation, the comedy wouldn't have been that funny. Character expressions are priceless and art and animation are amazing.
As for kawaiiness, yup, the characters are pretty kawaii, especially Nano. Well, you can pick your favorites once you watch the show.

Sound 8/10:
I like both the opening of the anime. The first opening is especially funny along with its video. The second opening is also nice.
The first ending song is ok. The second ending has different songs played on the same video track.

Character 9/10:
The characters are what makes this anime what it is. Each character is hilarious, has his/her own unique personality and contributes to the show's enjoyment in one way or another.
Our main cast is Yukko, Mai, Mio, Hakase (Professor) and Nano as far as I see it. There are a lot of side characters and each has his/her own personality so you won't get bored by any of them. Each and every one of them makes you laugh.
Some romances for comedy sake are also present but this is NOT A ROMANCE anime. All romances are purely for comedic purposes.

Enjoyment 9/10:
I enjoyed this show from start to end. I even watched some of my favorite skits again, from the episodes or from youtube. There are about 110 skits as the numbers said but I think there might be some more which they didn't number. Then there are slight 10 second skits like "Word of the Day", "Helvetica Standard" etc which are really funny.

Overall, if you're looking for a good laugh and an awesome comedy anime to kill some free time then look no further because Nichijou is exactly what you want.
And I'll definitely be rewatching this series from time to time.
