You follow the story of a brother and sister duo, Sora and Shiro, who are known around the world as the greatest player ever, known as "_____" (blank). They receive a message one day from someone unknown, asking if they believe they have been born into the wrong world. Confused, they are then offered to play a game of virtual chess, and while playing, they get sucked into an alternate reality where things are all determined by playing a game.
I love the development of all the characters, and how everything that they do is explained in the most extravagant way of thinking. The art style will also just keep you hooked, along with the hilarious character interactions.
I hope this show gets a second season, from where it left off, but it is one of my favorites this year. It's not anything like SAO or Log Horizon, but if you like those shows, go for this. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!
