No Game No Life is not your average gaming anime series. No, it's much more than that.
You follow the story of a brother and sister duo, Sora and Shiro, who are known around the world as the greatest player ever, known as "_____" (blank). They receive a message one day from someone unknown, asking if they believe they have been born into the wrong world. Confused, they are then offered to play a game of virtual chess, and while playing, they get sucked into an alternate reality where things are all determined by playing a game.

Gundam 00 is one of the best anime series that I have ever watched, period.
The story alone is astounding; a group of individuals who are different and want to help make the world become free of war-torn times, and it goes so much deeper, but I don't want to spoil anything. It follows the story of Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujiah Haptism, and Tieria Arde (spelling on names?) in a group called Celestial Being. Each character has their own history and background, and is executed well into the main plot. This is one of the only animes that made me actually feel the emotions of ...

BlackRock Shooter is a very compelling OVA, but very beautifully drawn and animated.
The characters depicted are developed quite nicely, and the relationship between the two is one that anyone in high school (or school in general) can relate to. Mako is your everyday adorable girl who's just looking to get out and see the world. The only thing I was slightly confused on was the story at some parts. Where did Shooter come from? What was the significance between her and others? Maybe it's just been a while since I watched it, but I was still a little confused. I have yet to watch the anime ...

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is what every single anime series based off of a manga should be, and this was executed so well, words can't even describe it.
This story is a work of art, and will keep you guessing and surprised each passing episode. The character development is phenomenal, and watching them all change and grow throughout is one of the greatest parts of this series. The art and animation is beautifully done, and the voice acting is spot on. Some parts are just...they're so good, you feel the emotion running through you.
