Now here is an actual review.
Story/Characters: The story in this is never perfectly explained. All I'm going to tell you is that there are two characters, Nine and Twelve, who want to destroy Tokyo and some other major characters that include Shibazaki and Lisa. I won't mention any other characters to prevent spoilers. I personally believe that Zankyou no Terrors character development it one of the weakest aspects of the show. Some may disagree but I felt as though characters like Lisa were introduced and never used and never deepened. Although you get to see characters like Lisa grow in situations it never feels natural. It somewhat feels forced all the way throughout the end. But one thing that this show does very well is definitely character interaction. The conversations between Twelve and Lisa are fun and enjoyable while conflicts involving Shibazaki are intense and very well written. There are also some very amazingly well written sequences one involving a Ferris wheel which was one of the best scenes in my opinion.
Art: The art is absolutely stunning. It's up to par with most anime movie animations. The art uses very contrasting colors in my opinion. Sometimes there will be a lot of light and then it will switch back to a darker color palette, but it all feels natural making the art flow throughout the entire show.
Sound: This is one of the few anime's where I have actually purchased the soundtrack and listened through to the very end. I rarely ever do this and that definitely says something about the soundtrack. Not to mention the God-given anime music composer Yoko Kanno worked on this. So of course the music is phenomenal.
Now the enjoyment factor of this show is going to vary person to person because for some people this show will feel slow and uninteresting which I gathered from asking many people who also watched the show. For some people this show is going to be very interesting and suspenseful which it was for me. I was never bored and I always wanted to see what happened next. This is an amazing show. But for some of you, there is a possibility that this show is going to be very boring and annoying. I can't say this for myself but I can speak for the people who have seen the show and have disliked it. Overall I say you should at least check it out and give it the 3 episode rule.
