hey man, I kind of get your point about the " It's about making every event mean something in the end" but I dont see whats the main goal of these "endings" every "character arc" has, since it doesn't teach me anything at all, thats my problem about this "development" it seems more like cheap tricks to get you, rather than to teach you something or to give a conclusion, is a cheap trick to get its viewers emotional.

I agree that my character review isn't good, since it was a rant rather than a review, since I notice these cheap tricks, and I was frustrated to see the writer, trying to implement this as if the people that are watching are stupid, can you please tell me where is the narrative impact the characters have on the plot? I just cant see anything

I think with all respect, since I like your post since you give valid reasons, I think you are reading to much to the show, I mean the characters "development" doesnt help at all the development, it feels really forced and fake, also the relationship building is really trash, like I only cared about zero two and hiro, but after seeing to many episodes were the only things they talk about each other is how they are going to save/love each other. in my opinion the only "developed" relationship is kokoro and mitsuru, and its just plain trash, like i couldn't care less about them, it feels like its forced on the show.

So what you like about the franxx? and can you explain me more about the development you are talking

just saying, sao II is a 24 episode series, not 26, and it will change during the second half, chances are, mothers rosario will be animated. Havent read it myself, but it received lots of praise, so I have higher expectations for the second half. altho good review overall

V Fans and for me the 'good animation' part. Animation is pretty easy to objectively rate, and SAO's was clearly horrible.

Great SAO review. You summed up almost all faults of SAO in a short review. Makes wonder why many 'not helpful'?
