Giving this a 10/10 is not that surprising considering the huge fan base surrounding this show. It has been some time since I watched the sequel to code geass but I think I still have the memory to write a decent review on the show.

Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 is a sequel to the previous which delivers the same or a greater form of entertainment to the audience. However there is a quite a difference between the 2 seasons. The use of more dramatic and emotional scenes gives the audience an even greater attachment to the series. Thus giving us a fresh and new look towards the show. This can be symbolized by the characters, settings or even the dialogue. When the audience is introduced to a second season we don't know if it will be a greater show or a complete mess .

Code Geass R2 is the continuation of the war between the Black Knights and the Holy Britannian Empire. However in any action sequel the characters will meet new foes, allies and fight against there "destined rival". There are ever greater and better plot twists in the sequel as they are either unexpected or just plain spectacular, due to the use of this method we are always hooked to the screen cringing are teeth of each and every single development in future episodes.
A basic statement that would describe the other characters would be "Just there" as the main theme of the show is Lelouch and his plan of conquering Britannia.

The characters in this show have great development by the use of emotions and individual actions and designs they make in the show have great effect on the outcome in any situation provided, This signifies us to learn more in greater depth of the characters personality, traits and future vision. Providing we get to the know the characters better. We slowly start to feel some type emotional attachment to each one of them this is due to the increase in character growth the show seems to put forward in this sequel. However when we look at the main character in the series the great Lelouch, We as age wise or personal preference's find more interesting that draws us even close to his way of thinking. We have the scenario explained by his views. The use of ever changing relationships between Lelouch and the characters drives the plot forward and gives it even greater depth.

The art of R2 compared to season 1 uses a more vivid texture in each setting. The use of lighting is pretty well done. The characters facial features and expressions are crisp and well thought out while having the background setting realistic to a certain extent which overall heightens the emotional and physiological impact in different scenes including the spectacular movement of vehicles and soldiers fighting giving a quite a site to spectate. However comparing the animation to the current year it is pretty out-dated but this does not effect the shows performance in giving us great entertainment.

The sound in my point of view is to be considered good.
The music (including the sudden songs in different scene) fits in pretty well in each and every scene and gives a properly nice impression overall. The opening is pretty spectacular, it gives you a sense of depth and excitement.

Now the question is how well I like the final series, Well the answer is simple.
Completed all the episodes through the morning and well into the night (5am) all on a 50Inch 1080p Smart HDTV. You can now understand the impact this show gave me just through the start of episode 1.

To sum up Code Geass R2 is a series of pure enjoyment and hyper excitement which leaves literally breathless. Your eyes will be glued to the screen with a need for the toilet to be kept a minimum. To sum up the series in one word "Blockbuster".

I heavily recommend to watch the previous season to gain and feel the impact this show will bring you.
Thank you for reading
