Wow, the review section really is split in two here! So just a heads up, this show isn't for everyone!
But if (like me), you can appreciate the Slice of Life genre, then this anime should prove as good choice, as it's likely the most SoL dedicated show i've seen yet.

So, what's inside this 24 episode bundle? well a few aspects that make up this show include the comedy throughout, as it's a light hearted anime after all: and the art style compliments this greatly, it gives a cartoon-like vibe, and it should click with you especially if you like your colours vibrant!

The show is oriented about the daily lives of high school girls, and so it's not a surprise that the story in terms of a plot is lacking, but as i said earlier, the "story" part of a SoL anime like this one is mostly conveyed through the characters. So this is where the divide occurs, do you think it's entertaining? or do you think it's pointless?

Diving into the character aspect, i came to appreciate a good variety of personalities in Lucky Star, from the quirkiness of Konata, to the diligence of Kagami - and many more. During the show, you come to find out more about the predominately female cast.

The presentation throughout is effective, this referring to the combination of the emotive art, and the very casual dialogue. So If your looking for a break from the vast array of action shows out there, this one is a good bet - as all signs point to this show as being designed to entertain. - and that really is all there is to it. Yet it all depends on your definition of "entertaining".

For me, this anime was a pleasure to watch, and as long as the cuteness and slightly cliche'd aspects don't throw you off, i'm sure you'll agree.
Don't you worry, because i'm coming to a close now, but if you are to take
anything from this review: relax, forget your troubles, you are now in the right mind set to watch Lucky Star :)
