Ishida to Asakura consists of twelve 2-minute episodes that have a bunch of weird, random stuff that seems designed to make you say "What the hell am I watching right now?"

The show seems completely self-aware of this, and even tends to parody a lot of generic, shitty anime tropes. However, it doesn't really parody hard enough and it's never clear whether they're making fun of something, or if it's just in there to be weird. Thus, many of the aspects they parody still end up feeling tired and overdone.
Also, their characters feel empty and really bland, but I think part of that might be by design... maybe?
You know, I'm really not sure anymore.

Anyway, I did laugh at some parts of the show, and at other parts I shook my head in disappointment, and then at some parts, I did both.
This is not a good show, and it by no means tries to hide that, but there's something kind of special about it.

Overall, I'd say it's worth watching if you're into really odd, weird stuff... and don't mind dealing with a few typical anime tropes.
