I am a bit conflicted about this anime.

This anime was brought to us by Arms and directed by the guy who directed Elfen Lied.

STORY (3):

I honestly don't know how to begin. The story is about Ryouta Murakami who has a childhood friend called Kuroha Neko, who was killed in an accident. 10 years later, Ryouta Murakami forms the astronomy club that is basically a club that deals with science and astronomy.

Honestly, it took a while for me to try to understand the plot. However, the plot is about Ryouta Murakami forming a relationship with the magicians who are girls. If you are wondering why I didn't do review of the remaining spring anime is because I have nothing interesting to say about them. Like for example Black Bullet & Isshukan friends.

There is no mystery which will make me figure out how and why it happened. That is sad.

Normally, I always see anime build tension in the later episodes, just like revealing the main villain in the later episodes. Even Noragami, also did the same thing.

At least Elfen Lied showed torment in character. However, this anime failed to show any of these qualities.

ART (5):

The animation is all right.

SOUND (5):

The opening and ending song is ok.

At least the voice acting is good. Risa Taneda portrayed a good voice as Kuroha Neko.

CHARACTER (4):

At least the characters never show me any annoying traits. However, the problem is the characters aren't properly flashed out. Some characters have 1 episode backstory and that's it.

I did like their Ryouta's relationship with the girls however, it wasn't enough.

Ryouta Murakami is bland and forgettable especially the rest of the girls.

I think that's all I have to say.

CONCLUSION (4):

You know, I really hate it when anime always ends with "Go read the manga" ending. This is one prime example. The end fight was very anti-climactic, the fight was very quick. I don't think I want to go into more detail.

I've got nothing more to say. Overall, this anime had potential but due to its rushed pacing and ending, especially characters that are bland. It comes off as forgettable. So I give this anime a 4 out of 10.
