We watch anime for enjoyment, however, there wasn't much to enjoy about this anime. Rather, there are more things that irked me than things I liked.
Like SAO, the series started off opening a gate of opportunities. A secret world exists where points you earn can be used in real life. But what the heck, let's just turn this to a harem anime instead.
Where da hell did they come from?
The one thing that really ticked me off was the main character, the fat guy. I see that they're trying to pull off a unique character and make one that can't be judged by appearance, but he's just like any other harem lead that's as dense as hell, only ten times as ugly.
The story wasn't very well thought out either. I mean c'mon, 2nd season is ditto to the 2nd arc of sao. The same author used the same plot twice...
The artwork had its nice touches. It was the only part you COULD enjoy about the anime, but all the battles start to get boring after overusing it. One Michael Bay is enough.
On a final note, I think Accel World is a waste of potential. If you haven't watched it yet or you're looking for something to kill time with, then go to YouTube and search up puppies or something, it's more worth it.
