I'm not hatin, I'm just trying to say that this was not good.
We watch anime for enjoyment, however, there wasn't much to enjoy about this anime. Rather, there are more things that irked me than things I liked.
Like SAO, the series started off opening a gate of opportunities. A secret world exists where points you earn can be used in real life. But what the heck, let's just turn this to a harem anime instead.

Hey guys, was it really all that bad?
Sword art Online might be overrated but that doesn't mean you should go against the current and hate it. *note* I will only be talking about the first half. I agree with everyone else on arc 2: Dafuq was that. Also, if you're looking for a summary, read another review. ^_^ The anime series focused on enjoyment for the audience. If you read the light novels, you'll see that the SAO side stories were included as well. Along with that, they even fit in the main storyline without rushing. I just don't get all the hate out there...
No Game No Life is a fun story about life in a world of games. Sure, some might say that the series doesn't have much of a story and is mostly on the intense duels, and I can't deny that. However, the way they made the episodes pulled it off real well. Unlike Naruto, which is known for its never-ending battle scenes with a million flashbacks, NGNL has a more straightforward approach that satisfies the viewer with its well thought out strategy, yet simple explanations.
